Update

Owen had a better day Thursday than the previous 3 days.  He was playing more.  We actually went to the playground in the afternoon and he did fine.

Three times during the day he came to me crying saying his head hurt and wanted to lay down.  He wasn't up to his normal self so I think it hurt all day at some level, but he just pushes through because he wants to do fun stuff too.

Gloria got the CT set up for Monday at 9:30 before clinics.  I am still hoping he magically gets better and we don't have to do it.

Eric is off to Colorado this weekend.  We have a busy weekend planned here, with friends who moved away coming over tonight, a baby shower here tomorrow and heading to my sister's in Indy on Sunday to paint a giraffe in her nursery.  It will work out perfectly that we'll already be in in Indy with the earlier appointment time.

Thanks for praying... the thought crossed my mind yesterday as he seemed to be doing much better that maybe it was indeed the prayers.  Maybe it was!

I am still hoping we'll be able to figure out what's going on.  I hate the never ending second guessing of SMP!

Glad he is doing a little better. And yes, it may very well be the prayers! :-) Still will be nice to have the CT just to see what's going on for sure. Darn SMP is just no fun! Will be praying for you guys!

Jen, thank you for your updates. I hadn't read them for a while. Its good to know how to pray for you all. I empathize with what you are going through. SMP I have suffered from many times. Its difficult to not go there when you have to stay right on top of his symptoms and any changes. You can't shut your mind off from it, when you might need to take action. Praying that your mind is stayed on THE ONE who is Sovereign over all, even those awful shunts. May you all have peace, comfort and wisdom to sustain you.
